4040 Night
4040Night is a quarterly fun event with quiz, karaoke and games. It is organized and hosted by 4040 to raise funds for its various activities, especially toward the Angaza programme. Participation at #4040Night is by registering quiz teams of 5 players and above. While there, individuals can also participate in other activities like board games and karaoke. The participation fee is currently Ugx 20,000 and the top 3 winners of the quiz receive amazing prizes that are generously offered by the Foundation’s partners.
4040 Connect
4040 Connect is an event and a safe space for young people to talk about life and career realities with professionals from different occupations.
It is a deliberate effort for 4040 to support our volunteers with opportunities that improve their personal and career growth and development.
The event also aims to inspire, motivate and educate young people on topics that are relevant to them, such as leadership, mental health, and employment and career hacks, among others. Over 600 young people have been reached through 4040 hangouts.
5 Aside UG
5 Aside is a football event that brings up to 32 teams together to play as a means of raising funds for 4040 activities. The event constitutes other fun activities such as sack and egg race, kwepena (dodgeball) and tug of war, among other activities – to accommodate non-football participants. Winning teams receive prizes such as cash, trophies, medals and certificates.
