Our intervention is dubbed Angaza which is derived from the Swahili word for “Shine.” It is the flagship program through which we are able to provide educational and learning resources to vulnerable children, under-resourced schools and underserved communities. We do this in the following ways;
Provide human resource support to under-resourced schools and at-risk communities through volunteer placement.
Increase equitable access to essential scholastic materials – e.g, exercise books, mathematical sets, pens, pencils, and school bags.
Establish resourced learning spaces for children in underserved communities such as slums and rural areas.
Provide complementary educational tools and resources such as computers, storybooks, artbooks, learning aids and instructional materials.
